Ocean Grove Pier in Black and White

Just playing around with converting some of my favorite shots of the Ocean Grove Pier to black and white. Used channel mixer and lots of contrast.

Rachel the Swimmer

Rachel began swimming competitively for the first time this year for Barnegat High School. She swims Individual Medley, Butterfly, Breast Stroke, and Back Stroke as well as freestyle. She is carrying on a family tradition as her dad swam all through High School and her Pop Pop Snell did too.

Happy New Year 2010!

We had a small neighborhood party for New Year's Eve and I brought my camera to get some fun portraits with my new diffuser for my flash.


































Rachel and Tara got dressed up for their party and they looked beautiful.

David smiled for me but his sister hid so I couldn't get any of Jess.

Ingie and Kim were all smiles.

And so was Ben. This was before we played Apples to Apples and he wasn't
too happy with my judgment on one of his answers...



















We finally got Denise in some photos, even though she started off the evening hiding from me behind her phone, her hands, and a dish towel!

And here is Buddy who thinks he is a lap dog. He is a cutie but still very rambunctious as he just had his first birthday.
